This week, Remembering Our Veterans will feature the story of Scott Kessler, whose tour of duty included many unexpected sacrifices.

Scott Kessler, 44, from Conneaut, Ohio, enlisted in the Army in 1999 and served for three years.

With a family history of service – his father, uncle, and sisters all served – Scott continued the tradition. He now works for the VA. It took him over ten years to tell his family about being assaulted.
